    I learned at a young age that failure and the pain that comes with it can either make me or break me. As a young academically challenged boy, I allowed my failures to accumulate, hedging up before me, what seemed like an impassable barrier. I, like many, allowed myself to doubt my self-worth. After dropping out of high school and having accumulated enough despair to last a lifetime, I reached my breaking point. While on my knees pleading with God, I came to a sure knowledge that the life He has given me (and everyone else) is of great value and great worth. I learned that the impassable barriers were passable, I learned that I could become better than I was.

   Following this experience, I began on a path that would take me on a journey that I didn't think was possible for a lowly young man as myself. I quickly began to render my lack of education, earning my General Education Development, along with doing all that I could to better myself as a man. My heart has always been drawn to serving others, I soon found myself working as a 9-1-1 call taker. With a growing desire to serve others and God, I soon after left to serve in a missionary capacity for my church for two years. Following this service, I found myself drawn to serving in another capacity as a military service member, it was not long after much of my initial military training that I began volunteering and serving in the Emergency Services field as an Emergency Medical Technician. Soon to follow this service, I found myself working full-time in a correctional setting with a local law enforcement agency. In-between all of this I have experienced so much more and served in many more capacities. I became a husband and a father, I obtained a college degree, worked as a medical assistant, served in various roles within the church, I am currently serving as a business executive with a wonderful small local business and more.

    Through it all, there has been one thing that has stuck with me, it is that I have value and am of great worth, not because of all that I have done or will do, but because I am a son of God. My passion for service has led me to creating this coaching business. It is mine and Emily's hope to share the valuable lessons that we have been learning along our journey, with as many people as we can. We have seen the ups and the downs, we have found that when we live our lives intentionally, we open ourselves up to our true divine potential.

    In my journey, I have intentionally been a student of leadership. I have had such wonderful opportunities to be around incredible people and tremendous leaders; I am humbled by them and all they have helped me to learn. I have learned that among the most important leadership roles that we have, perhaps the most important, is our role of leading ourselves. I am committed to learning how to do this better each day, as well as being committed to you, and doing all that I can to serve you in your journey through self-mastery. My journey has brought me here, but it will not end here, I have aspirations of growing this business with the hopes of serving as many people as our growing capacity will allow. I additionally am continuing my education with the hope of becoming a better servant with many more tools to help you on your journey. Let's look optimistically to the future together! I can't wait to meet you, learn from you, and hopefully be of service to you as you embark on your own journey.
